need some suggestions about fish
hey if anyone could help me find out what kind of fish i can put in my tank its a 80 gallon FOWLR and i have made a list of my top choices
emperor angel(i know this fish would be to big for my tank but a beautiful fish tough) Majestic angel Flame angel rock beauty false percula hippo tang purple tang picasso trigger niger trigger maroon clown long nose butterflye banded butterfly(i think that is his name) ![]() |

Niger and Picasso together would be fine together... try to get a larger niger than picasso. The Nigers are less aggressive than the Picasso. I think Angels get fairly large.. eventually too large for an 80 gal? Percula I think should be fine.

I'd stay away from the Rock Beauty. Very difficult to keep alive long term. Many of them just seem to die suddenly.

Any of those combos would be fine. Don't mix maroons with any other clowns, which I see you didn't plan to do. I'd go with the hippo-perc-flame-picasso. Getting a mated pair of maroons could be a little tricky, and getting two maroons and trying to mate them is even trickier. Flame is a good choice, they are hardy and not shy.

for a beginner i would suggest the following;
picasso niger (never had luck with these) maroon clown all others listed either grow to large/active or difficult. good luck ![]() |
