    PO4 in FOLR setup

will high phosphates harm fish? I've ordered phos. removing pillows but they haven't gotten here yet. I'm running a fish only with DSB and live rock. Nitrates are undectable as well as ammonia and nitrites.
29 gal and I haven't added fish yet (planning on 2 perculas.
    thanks

Within reason , the phosphate would not hurt the clowns . What it will do is cause algae to grow very well . This could or could not be beneficial. Growing macro algae and harvesting it is a good way to naturally rid the tank of PO4. What really needs to be done is first , identify where it is coming from. What is your water source? That is usually the first place to look . You can also cause high PO4 from overfeeding. If you use the pillows,be sure not to let them stay in the water for an extended time period or they will start to leach material back into your system.
In this hobby patience is not a virtue,,,,,its mandatory.
