New to marines
Hi, all.. Nice to meet you.. I'm a newbe here... I have little knowledge about marines. I'd like to get some information here..
I was afraid to register caz English language isn't my mother tongue. I need a lot of help about marine fish and English from you guys.. I have a question about water.. I mixed salt made by instant ocean with water 2 weeks ago, and I put two fish, Tomato and African Clown as starting fish, in my tank. But, they hardly move. They hide behind the rock so that my family can't see them. Are they shy? Do they have a problem? Help me PLZ... |

If after 2 weeks they are still alive, you are probably ok. I would test for pH, nitrates and nitrites to make sure everything is ok. A word of advice, in a freshwater aquarium, you notice that the fish don't look real good, in a saltwater aquarium, you wonder what happened. Best to stay on top of it. HTH

Did you cycle the tank first with your live rock or was everything just put in and the fish added right away?

No..
One week after I cycled, I put them in the tank. Now I've been cycling it for about 3weeks.
