    question about my QT tank

Now that my wild caught ocellaris died from, ich and what looked like Brooklynella, I am definitely going with tank raised ocellaris next time. My question is what do I need to do to my QT tank. I treated the fish with coppersafe and melafix. I'm running carbon now. Do I need to do a total water change, and do I need to wait a period of time before getting the tank raised ocellaris? Also if the tank raised have been in the lfs for 2 weeks and eating well can I just put them in the 29gal since they will be the only fish and not worry about the QT tanks?
    Thanks

What size is your QT, mine is a 10 gal with nothing in it but a couple of pieces of dead rock. In between buying fish I always emptied and cleaned the tank.
As to adding fish directly to your show tank, that should be no problem if these are your only fish. Do you have corals? Will you be able to catch the fish if needed to treat in a QT (if you do have coral)? I added my pair of tank raised ocellaris to an established reef with other fish present. I had no problems.
