Can Juv. emperor angel become adult one in tank?
If not, what shall I do? Is there a way to do it?

I have one in my 200 gallon tank right now changing from juv to adult. It is almost complete. Fish has been in the tank for about 1 1/2 years. I just try to feed all different foods, etc. Formula Two, Angel Formula, Spirulina Formula, and Zoecon, Zoe Marine, also dried seaweed (nori) every day. The fish was about 2-3 inches when first introduced. He is now 3-4 and looks good.

200 is a great setup for one of these guys.

i have heard that the large angels can become problematic regarding feeding long term. i.e just dont get what they need and become uninterested.

Triggers, I think the main thing with these fish is frequent water changes. I change 30 gallons every week. I had a queen angel over 3 years with less water changes, but it seems like it really makes a difference. It seems like if you constantly change water they will not even get sick (i do have a 40 watt uv going also), and they have a very strong appetite all the time.

I kept one for a long time which was a juvie and grew into a beautiful adult with the coloration. I would often take the white sponges growing in my reef and throw it into the angels tank. Make sure you feed a varied diet and I think you should be fine as long as you have the proper environment for it.
