The Spokane Reef Society is looking for ideas...

Since the club is on its way to being a nonprofit organization we are looking for ideas. For what you ask? Well, suggestions on how the club can be great. What would you like a reef club to offer you as a member etc. What would be willing to pay as an annual dues? Should the club have an outreach program? Things like that. Feel free to throw anything out there.

    Thanks!
    Greg

Hey Greg, I know I am not local, and hope you don't mind, but I am a rather frequent visitor to your area for some strange reason.
I wouldn't mind paying a fee to be able to go to your meetings. If everybody chipped in, it might be possible to attract a speaker or 2 to the area. JMO.

    Hey All!

The meeting last night was great! As always Frankie put on a great spread to include her homemade chocolate and Kevin gave a great talk.

There where approximately 30 people that showed up and we stayed pretty late for some good conversations.

I need to make a phone call or two to set the next date for February's meeting. On that note what would everyone like to hear a discussion on?

    Hey Charlie!
We are already working on a speaker. Last night I proposed $15 for youth membership, $25 adult and $35 for families. It seemed to be widely exepted from the audience. I need to find a home for our meetings when no one would like to host and I am working on by-laws for the club. I am sure it will take a lttle bit to accomplish everything but I assure you its in the works....
