Blown 63 chevy's 125 in progress

Well I finally got the stand built and the plumbing done and did my initial run to see how the water flowed. So far, so good. Only one minor leak. I took some pictures for all to admire/critic my woork and offer up any ideas for the sump. I tried the snailman approach with using two sprinkler heads but I can't seem to get them to rotate. The top of the tank looks high because it is. It's a little over 5'6" tall so that when you stand to look at it, you don't have to lean over. That and the fact that it is going to be in our entry way when you open the front door.
My idea for the sump is to put in a over, under baffle on the right side for that overflow, a over baffel on the left side to quiet down the output of the skimmer and chemical filter and a under, over baffle to the right of the return pump. The area inbetween the right side overflow and the return pump is where I am trying to figure out what to put in there. Am considering a DSB in there but still not for sure. Any ideas? Anyway, here are the pictures.

That's a lot of PVC! Is that an old Emperor filter I see hanging on the sump? I wish I'd thought of that before I got rid of mine way back when! Good job!

Yea, that's the one. I thought it would be a good use for it rather than throwing it away. Had to modify it some to make it fit sideways, but it works. The reason so much PVC is because I didn't want a bunch of power heads all over the tank. The spray bars will be covered by the rocks.

Spray bar galore! I doubt that you will have to worry about any "dead spots" behind your live rock.

Keep us posted on your progress. I can't wait to see the finished product!

For Sure just wondering are you going to put any Check valves on those returns? Or something to break siphon?

I'd hate for all those spray bars to drain your tank in case the power goes out!!!!
