CPR Bubbles
Ok well I have had my 46G bowfront tank running since this pass Saturday 11/22/03. I am using the CPR bak-pac 2R Protein skimmer, which is the model that doesn't come with the bio-strings. Well I have heard that the CPR units will shoot back some bubbles for 48 hours or so... Well I am still recieve very fine bubbles back into the tank. I can't stand it! Is there something I can do to stop these bubbles? I have read everything in the manual and none of it has worked, anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks -David |

Hi Clownguy,
Are you adding any additives to your tank at the moment? I know that when I add vitamin supplement to my food that my skimmer will start to spit out tons of little bubbles but it eventually goes away. But I am not sure what other additives may cause this. Also did your skimmer come with that little foam block that you can put into the outlet tube of the skimmer? This may help if you have not got one. -CaptK |
