my system

it's been app. 10 years since i have kept a marine system,so here i go again!

72 bow front

30 sumpting refugium/sump diy/acrylic

little giant 4mdqsc main pump

aquac urchin pro skimmer,mag 3 driven

app. 16 gallon of sump deciated to fug

200 gph little giant supplying fug

light of america 4 x 65 fug lighting

6" dsb in refug and display, (argonite oolite sand).....no southdown down south

pc moon lite fixture for the main aquarium

75 pounds of tonga deep on order
i'll cycle the tank with this after a week in another curing tank.

so maybe a few softies and rock skippers are in the future.
still need diy kalkwasser drip AND perimeter testing kits.


if all runs well clowns and anenome as the main attraction.

just happy to be alive ............cheers

Sounds like a plan to me...

Only thing I can think of is maybe a bigger skimmer? With your total Volume of about 100 gallons I would go with something a little more beefy

Hey hawk!

Your plan looks great but I will offer a couple of suggestions. First, you don't mention what kind of lighting you will be using over the main display and this obviously will be important with Anemone's in your plan.

Secondly, I would just cure the liverock in the tank. I don't see any need to set-up a holding vat to start the curing process and then move it to the display, unless however you do not have the display set up yet and it is a timing issue.

2 65 10k 2 65 act. pc lites are over the main tank.
i also have about .25 of a sheet of 1/4 acrylic left so maybe a diy skimmer to go with the aquac. and i did say maybe an anenome is in the future..... very distant future. i'm also using do/di water only.
