Magnum 350

Is there an explanation why all of a sudden my water level inside the canister drop atleast about 50%?

The canister's been running for about 7-8 weeks now and so far this is the odd thing i saw when i checked on it this evening. I see no sign of any, ANY leaks. My water level is from the tank is about or close to be the same when i left this morning. Any ideas?

I'd check for a blockage in one of the hoses...

Or the actual filter itself is completely clogged, which one do you have installed? Is it the blue one or the Micron cartridge?

The Micron Cartridge. Both hoses are open wide.

The Micron cartridge is prob full. Try to take it out and restart it I'll bet the filter works perfectly. Those micron filters are only designed to be used for polishing, they clog very quickly.

Yikes!. I took out the carbon filter because i thought it would help. Should I bring it back? or just use the cartridge and do a maintenance every week?

I would use the blue floss without the carbon for now...

After the cycle completes 6-8 weeks then put the carbon back in

I would put the blue floss bank in till the cycle completes. No carbon till then.

Ok. I did all that. New problem. But I think i saw it somewhere that there are mods that you can do to fix it. The new problem is the return hose is leaking. My fault, i did not place the small o-rings around it. Im running my tank with just the skimmer. Tonight I'll try to fix it or give it a little upgrade so I don't have to worry about it being loose again.

Thanks for all your replies!
