I want a pair of clown fish and either, coral, live rock or an anenome, which i prefer. Wil this fit in a 10 gallon? and how should i set it up? what type of lights should i have? The hood on it is fit for a 29 gallon. Please tell em the supplies i should get. please help thanks.

What you are looking to do is set up a nano reef. When investigating, look for this term. Basicly, all it means is that you are setting up a tank on a smaller scale. These aquariums have quite a following. The nano guys are often quite innovative as there isn't a whole lot made for small reef tanks (reef=live rock, live coral, anemones etc.). Good luck!

Nano-reefs are exciting, challenging and just as beautiful as larger tanks. The thing is more attention is required to maintain water quality. Obviously, a 10 gallong tank cannot evaporate as much water as a 75 gallon tank with only a minor change in salinity and this works the same for all water conditions.

As far as animals, the anemone is not going to be a good choice for such a small tank; small fish and corals will be just fine.

Regards and Welcome!
