Aqua Controller/Calcium Reactor

Does anyone know what would be a good program setting for an Aqua Controller to turn on the calcium reactor? Right now I have it set for when my PH > 8.45 Then CO2 ON. Some how I'm thinking that defeats the purpose of having the calcium reactor. I feel it should be running more often. Any help is much needed, thanks

Adam

I have done some fiddling w/ AC's but to my knowledge the AC (aquacontroller) should only be used to shut off the reactor...actually it will shut off the Co2 feed and that will need a solenoid that would be plugged into an X-10 module. Why would you need a program? You should be able to program it to do everything you want

You threw me off here! what exactly are you trying to control the flow through the reactor? or the Co2 feed? PH greater than 44?? I dont understand, please elaborate.

Within the Aqua Controller programming language, I have -

If PH > 8.45 then CO2 = ON

If PH < 8.35 then CO2 = OFF

If I want to maintain a good Calcium level, lets say 400 or higher, how can I do this, unless my Calcium Reactor is suppose to run all the time and cut off at what reading of my PH settings.
