AquaC Remora Broken??

Ok I got my new AquaC Remora Pro with Mag3. I set it up and plugged it in. It started foaming nicely, quiet watery, so I moved the cup up about ½”. It worked well for the rest of the night.

In the morning the foam wasn’t even near the top. I moved the cup farther down and waited. Now a few hours later the foam is still about 3-4” from the top of the cup and the cup is all the way down.

What gives, is it broken or just breaking in??

Sometimes skimmers produce very little skimmate, then ALL OF A SUDDEN... POW

Mine loses its foam when I feed some of the food gets into the column and pops some bubbles I think

Give it at least a week, as Poseidon mentions sometimes skimmers go through a break in period but it will start producing.

I also find that if the inside walls of the skimmer get too yucky the foam can't "climb" its way out. I find that if I wipe off the inside occaisionally, I get beter foam action.
