Never had one, but my LFS has one on his coral display tank... He likes it, it does pull out alot of gunk, but for heavily that tank is populated I would think there would be EVEN MORE to pull out. I guess the Prizm PRO is a little better and has a surface skimmer attatchment.

I have 2 prisms (on 2 seperate tanks) and I really like it. It seems to pull out a lot of gunk (much more then my old excalibur).
    They are on a 75 and a 55.
My parameters are almost perfect on the 75 - Nitrate is reading at 5 according to salifert.
The parameters are perfect on the 55

I use the nitrate level as basic guide to how the skimmer is doing. I know that a skimmer doesn't remove nitrate itself, but it does remove the organics that break down into nitrate.

I have a 10 gallon that I don't run a skimmer on. Instead, I use polymarinebio's polyfilter. It seems to work very well and again the water parameters are perfect.

I run a Prism on my 20. It does a decent job. The downsides of the Prism are that it's fairly noisy, and it tends to skim wet. I think it's a decent choice for smaller tanks.
As a nation, you're faced with the choice of taking over the world or offering good eats at reasonable prices.
