i just got a new 30gal tank, and i saw this protein skimmer for 70$ +SH, and i was wondering if it was any good? im either going to buy this one, or the red sea prism. heres a pic of the first one i saw:

I just bought a jb 180 skimmer from the same seller on ebay. It is very similar to a seaclon skimmer. I'm running a 120g with the jb180 and a 400 skilter with the air diffusor adaption. There is a thread on aqualink where these skimmers are discussed at lenght. Check it out

Well i just brought a Prizm deluxe skimmer, your best bet is to go see someone who has one and go see it in action then you can decide which one to get.

As i don't have my tank as yet , i'm still getting some equipment together first.
