too many bubbles

too many bubbles

my tank has WAY to many micro bubbles floating around, i have the cpr bak pak, and it has the blue filter media in, i heard it was supposed to be a bubble trap, but it doesnt look like its working, can anyone give me some advice on how i can get rid of all these bubbles?

Get the bubble trap made by CPR. It goes on the output side of the skimmer.

You don't need the Blue media in there, just one of these...BPBT

yeah, i got one of those bubble traps on my cpr, it works well. it also came with the external bubble trap, but i dont use that one. my skimmer finally started showing skum, and i should be getting the one from my boss tomorrow. my tank is fishless, but i love looking at it still, seeing tons of critters crawling on the rocks at night. leddy

awsome leddy, glad to hear everything is working out, and im glad to here that the bubble trap works, i will probably go out and pick one up this weekend, and if they dont have any in the LFS's around here, ill order it offline.

i also hired my collection cup a lot, and opened the air valve a little more and its foaming up better then ever and the bubbles seemed to decrease a little.
