TDS Unit/Well Water
What does a TDS unit actually test for? What do I want to test for to be sure my water is good, phosphates, bacteria, heavy metals, and other chemicals?

TDS - Total Dissolved Solids
You can pick up a Hanna Hand held TDS Meter for $25 - $30 and it is a simple probe test. Anything higher than 0 is worth looking in to. |
