    Question RO/DI water

I have a stupid question. Just received my first RO/DI unit. My tap water is at a 7.2 PH. Is is common for the RO/DI water to have PH around 6.2? according to my color chart from my test kit. All other values are good, chlorine = 0 etc. Would this cause a problem for a reef tank?

    Thanks,
    Micro

RO/Di water is a necessity in a Reef Tank. I do not believe that the 6.2PH is accurate. If so it would be great to dissolve aragonite. A PH monitor is a good investment. Just have the R/O water enter your tank or sump in an area with high water movement so it will be aerated.
