Protein Skimmer

Hello,

Can I get any recomendtion which Protein Skimmer will be the best for 30gal tank?
I started tank three 1/2 years ago and I have one Protein Skimmer, which i hate, because it is noisy, never work smoth and doesn't do its job for my 30 gal, even it is supposed to work for 80gal (may be that's why ? ;) )
Well, I want to change it and I'm afraid to make another mistake: too expensive ;

Any suggestions ?
