Help needed with water flow
Hello all:
Ive been running my 65 gal reef tank of mostly softies and LPS for the last 4 years and have decided its time to take the plunge into sps. I've made the neccesary upgrades to my lighting and water chemistry and am now looking at my water flow. I currently have a mag 5 return as my only pump on the system and will obviuosly need to add some serious flow. I've looked into streams and geminis but believe they would be way to much for my 36 x 18 x 21 tank (anyone know the geminis manufacturers website). I would like to avoid throwing alot of smaller pumps in my display tank as I perfer my tank to look like a natural section of a reef and not a science project (all those damn power cords) I'veread a number of links refering to closed systems and such but have not been able to find an explanation of what these are. As you can see I have a ton of questions. Any help would be great. Thanks all Delmarr |
