I recently re setup my 75g tank after it being broken down for a couple of years. I have 2 fish in it and all is going well.
My problem is....The inside of the glass has calcium buildup (at least I believe it to be calcium buildup). Front panel is hazy in spots and it is annoying the hell outta me. It isnt as obvious from a distance but when you get close it stand out pretty bad (at least to me it does).
When I was cleaning the tank prior to setup I didnt notice it and now that I have livestock in there I fear it is too lateI am going to try using a straight edge razor and see if that works. My turbo snails appear to be removing a bit of it but it could be my imagination.
Can anyone offer any other possible remedies?
Thanks,
Mark

. You can try scraping, but that has never worked for me, unless the buildup is very thick.
