Tank decisions

I currently have a 75 gallon tank built into a wall. I want to upgrade to a larger tank but I am limited to particular dimensions. The longest I could go would be 60". There is a lfs with 2 tanks that could work. The first is a 120 (60"L x 24"H x 18"D) or a 150 tall (48"L x 30"H x 24"D). Would there be an advantage of one tank over the other?

Thanks,

Todd

The advantage I see with the second tank it the extra depth but the dissadvatage is the extra height and the required lighting punch to penetrate to the bottom. Another option would be a standard 120g at 48x24 or if you wanted, you could look for a custom builder to get you a 60x24x24.

I think a 60x24x24!!! That would be way cool. I currently have a 135 which is 72x18x22 and I WISH I had the extra 6" width. It would make the Aquascaping so much nicer. Check around, a good LFS will have a tank Builder that can put that together for you.
