    I'm LEAKING!!! HELP!!!

I have sprung a leak in my 7 year old 145 gal. DAS reef tank.
Am I going to have to DRAIN and re-silicone all seams?? I shudder at the thought....Im not really sure where the leak is...the tank is on a substantial wooden stand (more like furniture with cabinets, shelves) and is slowly leaking through a front seam in the stand. A slow leak... I'm just working up to a panic though!!! Can anyone help me or share a leak experience??

    Thanx

It has been my experience that a leak can only be temporarily fixed

It has happened to me twice over the years and both times were disasters in the end. If you can find the leak, you can certainly try to silicone the area and cross your fingers. It's a small, slow leak now but could quickly turn into a big mess. If it is a crack...I would forget it. You might be able to salvage the tank if it is "stressed" however.

Not trying to make a bad situation worse and am usually a very positive person but again...leaking tanks generally = time to get a new tank imo.
