ro/di

hey i found this ro/di filter on sale for 50$ +20$ s/h, i have a picture of it. what do you guys think about this, is this a good buy? description says it was bought new but never hooked up, and it says that the DI cartirdge is expired, and i might have to replace that. but if its never been used, would i really have to replace it? the brand is AQUA, i dunno if anyone has heard of it, but please let me know what you think.

Reefer,

As with any RO/DI unit, what you are really looking for is the support you'll get from the manufacturer if you ever need it. The filters that come with the unit may not be the best (5 micorn versus 1 micron, etc.) but they can be replaced relatively cheap. Should you get it or not? That is a decision you'll have to make.

I have an Aqua FX and they are great for support when I need it. Again, the support you can get from the manufacturer is what you should look for.
