Live rock in wet/dry question
Would it be possible to remove the bioballs and put some live rock in it's place instead of in the sump since I do not have room in the sump for live rock? Would there be enough water trickling over the live rock to keep it alive and able to filter?

It wouldn't do any better or any worse than the Bio-Balls do and therefore I would not recommend it. The problem with the trickle is the environment it provides; very high oxygen levels and not constantly submersed.
