Quarantine tank Question
Hello
Does the type of conduit for hiding spaces in a quaratine tank matter? There are all kinds black, grey and white. I am not sure if certain plastics may give off any toxins in saltwater. I appreciate any help BILL |

Hi RBU2, Welcome to Reefland!
You should just stick with PVC pipe either scedule 40 or 80; both are safe for use with saltware aquariums. |

Thanks The only reason why I asked. We live in a development under construction. I can get unlimited pieces of black plumbing pipe. I guess it is the pipe used for the sewer lines. Is that safe????

There are some types of pipe that are not safe for saltwater; I would stick with schedule 40 or 80 PVC.
