Need help with skimmer

I purchased a remora pro about 3 years ago and its been a great skimmer.
Recently I noticed a pronouced reduction in water flow coming out of the skimmer.
I normally remove the skimmer every 6 months for cleaning and it was just about due for one so I gave it a good scrub. The model I have does not have the screw that alows you to clean out the injector so Im rather limited in how effective I can be. After cleaning out and testing the mag 3 that I use to run the skimmer I reasembled everything and tested the unit. The reduced flow had not changed. I've tryed a number of times to clean the injector but can't seem to really get to it. Is there a tool I can use or is it time for a new skimmer?

Maybe really hot water would help.

You should ba able ot buy some small, very long, wire handled circular bristled brushes. Many LFS's have these in the fresh water maintance area. or check the local dollar stores for these. I see them there too.

But as Samper said a good soak in some really hot water may bust up the clog as well.
