the sen line pumps a lot of pressure, and the mag drives are quite powerful
I recently purchased a new Protein Skimmer that came with a Kent .5" Venturi. The instruction say to use a pump between 550GPH and 782GPH. Has anyone used the .5" Kent Venturi before with a pump? If so what pump do you use? I tried it with a RIO 2100 (692GPH), but it produced almost no bubbles or foam. My guess is that the RIO does not provide enough pressure to drive the Venturi. So before I rush out and purchase a new pump I want to see what works best with this Venturi. My thoughts were either a MAG 7, Sen 700, or Dolphin 650.
Let me know if something is better or which one works best.
When I was in high school, I got in trouble with my girlfriend's Dad. He said, " I want my daughter back by 8:15." I said, "The middle of August? Cool!"

If you are talking about a Kent Nautilus TE protein skimmer, then you need a Mag 7 to run it properly. That is what I use.....
I use the Kent as well, but the one that can go outside the sump, and I use a MAg 12!It works great! I really like the MAG line, I have two, and both are very quiet and powerful pumps!
