Just picked up an ASM G4 skimmer to go in-sump that has pretty much no instructions. Not much to putting it together, but I don't have any idea if it requires a particular water level to work properly. Any advice from you ASM owners? Thx.

I don't own one but generally the water level can be as high as the air intake or the bottom of the collection cup whichever comes first. Keep in mind that the water level in your sump needs to be low enough that if you have a power outage and the overflows keep flowing that it won't overflow the sump before they stop draining. Hope this helps.

I beleive the water level can vary for initial set-up anywhere from just above the pump to ~1" below the neck where it starts to reduce in size.
Seems I've seen references to some skimmers requiring a specific water level - discussion was on putting the skmmer on a platform to get it to the proper height. I'll give it a go as is and see what happens. Thanks for the input!
