Question About Some Timing
On my tank i have a the retun line T'd off with 2 returns into the tank, Dont ask why thats just the way the tank was when i got it. I have recently found a 3 way valve, and was going to set up to go from One return to the other every minute or so, (to create a wave type motion) I was wondering how long i should set it for, The Relay i have for the valve I can adjust from 60 sec to 180 sec. I was just wondering what would be the best time.
If none of this makes sense then sorry, let me know and ill try to explain better. Thanks |

Any of the settings will be fine from 1min. to 3min.; I don't think anyone could define "the best".

Wave motion is wave motion... I would say 30 sec at a time, in a natural reef waves come a much more frequent intervals sometimes, and sometimes the sea is "calm" so whatever you choose is what will work...
