What would be the best protein skimmer to get for a 29 gal tank? Someone please help

Hi mike88camaro, Welcome to Reefland!
If your looking for a HOT skimmer, I think the best you can get for tanks 55gal or less is an AquaC Remora or Remora Pro with the prefilter and bubble catch attachment. You can power the skimmer with either a Maxi Jet 1200 or better yet, a MAG 3 or 5. |

Yup I agree with Scott... Nothing is more important then the skimmer as far as filtration is concerned, so DO NOT go cheap on this purchase, you will truly get what you pay for! If it sounds to good to be true...

There are other options out there, CPR Bak-Pak's, Red Sea Prism's, etc. that you may want to research but when you ask for the best, I think the Remora is for this size.
