do you use the remora surface box?

I ordered one of these remora surface skim box thats supposed to lessen the amount of microbubbles and skim the surface... Its friggin huge though, dominates my 26 gallon tank. I havent got my RO/DI unit yet so I cant test it, but I'm curious has anybody tried it, is it worth it? Thanks.

I used a Remora Pro in my 58 for a while - without the surface-skim box. The tank did have an overflow - so `surface gunk'-wise I wouldn't have an issue - and once the skimmer broke in never really had a micro-bubble problem.

But - that was larger water volume - and may be the exception on the micro-bubbles.

So - I'm not sure what to advise, but that's my experience. Nice small skimmer.

It depends of the tank whether or not you get micro bubbles. Most of the tanks running the Remora do not need the bubble trap. For tanks that do, it works great.
