Hi guys

I need to find out the rim clearance on the Aqua-C Remora Pro. The rim on my tank is 2.5cm wide from glass edge to the center in direction - so cant fit some skimmers. Its rather desperate as my Red Sea Berlin skimmer just died and i want to replace it pronto. I've emailed various companies for a reply but they are rather slow. I figured a post may be quicker. HELP....

It should work. I have a Remora Pro on a standard 55g tank and it fits fine. This skimmer has a very thin profile in general. How big is your tank? Are you saying that you have 2.5 cm of plastic rim? That's pretty deep.... I'm at work and the skimmer is at home, unfortunately. Otherwise I would measure the "hang-on" piece for you.....

I'd contact Aqua-C. I found them to have great customer service + answered all my emailed questions fairly quick. [one of the reasons I went with them, as service is worth something in my book]

But I'd ask them, as they know the specs exact. Good luck [I liked my Remora]
