Magnum 350
I just wanted to know the best way to clean the filters for a magnum 350. I was told that a bleach solution works best but I was concerned about how safe it was.

I would be very concerned with that as well. I guess optimally cleaning it in saltwater would be best (like the water removed from teh tank for a water change). Freshwater would work as well.

Bleaching the micron filter works fine, you just have to rinse them well and themn leave them out to dry for a couple of days and then rinse them again to remove all the bleach smell. I have been using them for over a year cleaning one once a month and rotating in another that I have already cleaned and then set out for a while. Be sure they don't smell like bleach b4 you use them though, big disaster.

If you look up the marinealnd web site I am sure you can download a manual, but off the top of my head I think it is 4 to 1, but remember to rinse well and then let it dry then rinse agian until the bleach smell has gone away.
