Wave Makers
Hello,
Anyone using the Red Sea wave master pro? Or the Reef fanatic Wave creator? Thinking about buying one of these. Prices are similar. Don't know which one will be better. ![]() |

I use the Wavemaster Pro personally, have never used the Reeffanatic device. The WMP is decent. It will power either 4 powerheads or 3 powerheads and your main system pump. There are several presets for the "randomness" of the powerheads and it has a night time and feeding mode. been running ours for about 1.5 years with no problems.
![]() There are other options available that also include lighting control but if you are just looking to control a couple of powerheads then the WMP is a good option. |

For what it's worth I think the "soft start" is a marketing thing. When the powerheads come up, they come up; there is no "soft start" to it. Here is a quote from the Digital Aquatics page regarding their soft start feature:
