I'm shopping for an RO/DI filter and don't know which is good or bad. Anyone have any good or bad recommendations??? Ebay has units as cheap as $79, but I don't wanna buy garbage.

Here is the one that I got and has worked fine. As long as you don't need a lot of water fast, don't bother getting the high volume ones.

I purchased my RO+DI unit from FilterDirect on Ebay last year. It is great. I have had no problems with it after a year and my TDS is still below 10 after hundreds of gallons with the orginal filters. The price is right also. A 6 stage 110GPD unit is usually under $120.00.

When I was in high school, I got in trouble with my girlfriend's Dad. He said, " I want my daughter back by 8:15." I said, "The middle of August? Cool!"
Thanks for your suggestions. I ended up choosing a Premium Reef Supply 4-stage RO/DI from Premium Aquatics(see link under sponsors). It was their house brand. Very nice construction and materials, but no instructions. Despite no instructions, I'm very happy. More importantly, Jason has responded to all my e-mails and been exceptionally helpful. Thanks to his efforts, my next purchase will probably be a PFO custom MH lighting fixture from Premium Aquatics.
So far my experience with Reefland's sponsors is 2 for 2 on the positive side.
Glad to hear you got a good unit and that you've had good experiences through Reefland.com's sponsors.![]()
Thanks for the link. I am buying a house and looking for a good RO/DI system that includes drinking water. Thanks again...........Originally Posted by Meric
