DIY bubble trap.
Has anyone made a good bubble trap? The one that comes with my skimmer is useless.

A Coralife Super Skimmer. The trap that comes with it is terrible. I am trying to regulate things to see if that works.

How long has the skimmer been running? Any possibility of just putting a piece of sponge or filter floss in front of the output to catch the bubbles?

The skimmer has been running for about a month and a half. At first it I had the same problem but it sort of corrected itself using the supplied trap. I did not even know it was a trap, just figured it would work okay. I cleaned every thing the other day and the bubbles have not stopped. Maybe I need to give it some time?
