    eBay refugium.

    Is this refugium worth the money? You get what you pay for.

    I think you would be just as good off with a standard size aquarium with some baffles placed in it. Plenty of step-by-step instructions available on the net for doing this.

    The problem with getting one professionally built is the cost and risk of shipping. Anything of good size (36" L) would really need to be shipped via truck carrier and that gets pretty expensive. This is why most people do a DIY project for a sump/refugium.

    I guess what I may do is buy a tank, make some baffels and DIM. I have looked just lightly on the net for plans and ideas, any good sites to go to?

    I did some searching and then just made up my own plans. It's not the best, but it works and was VERY cheap. As a matter of fact, since I had a 10 gallon tank lying around, I think I spent about $30 total in materials. If you're just a bit handy, give it a whirl and go for a DIY'er.Here's mine: DIY sump & refugium
