aquarium glass support
I have a 2x2x8' glass aquarium. It has a two foot glass support partition in the middle. Can I cut a semi-circle from both ends leaving 4 or 5 inch attachment on the frame and still keep the support? Should I leave it alone? Or can I remove it completely? It gets covered with salt and block the light. Any suggestions?

I'd leave it. Just be good about cleaning it off!

Thank you. I just thought I could "tirm" it but keep the edges in tack. I guess not too good of an idea, Huh?

If you dont have it "euro-braced" then this is the means of lateral support.
