I found a 10 year 125g tank for 200 dollars. It is currently a freshwater tank. Is the tank to old? What other equitment will I need?

Break it down and give it a damn good cleaning use a little bit of white vinegar to get it clean. Trash the filters and get new one (i would). I think that will be a great FO tank as long as you use some LR and Sand. I dont know how you are on $$ but you might want to consider using Tonga branch rock to give your fish hidding spots and caves to live in. Keep us updated on what your going to do.

I run my 125 on a 30 gallon sump. Mine has dual overflows in the tank. Can you get the bottom drilled? That will make a nice FO tank. Can't wait to see it, be sure to post some pictures.
