new cartridge time

I have never replaced these before and don't exactly know what I need to replace.
Here is the unit I have
http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/sh...ry=168&Sub=166
it's the 75gpd one.

I like his prices but don't know which ones I need to buy other than the DI resin. any help will be appreciated cause I need this asap.
Here is the link to his refill cartridges.

You have to click on the links in the left menu to see the choices.

Also I need a booster pump cause for some reason we have lost water pressure at our house. Any recommendations on that?
He has one for sale but I don't know anything about it.

From the looks of the first link, your unit came with the 1 micron sediment prefilter ($3.79) and the 0.6 micron carbon blcok filter ($10.99). And, that is the general quality of prefilters I use on my RO systems, 1 micron sediment followed by a 0.5 micron carbon block prefilter, although I use SpectraPure brands. But, these should be fine.

I don't know about the booster pump.

We have the worse water pressure of anyone, I would almost bet $0.50 on it. However we still produce RO/DI. What is the advantages and disadvantages of the booster pump?

A booster pumps allows the RO membrane to work more efficiently and therefore produce more product water. Bascially, it helps you get closer to those best case scenario situation in which they rate your RO's gallon per day theoritical output.

Our pressure dropped from 50 psi coming into the unit to 20. That drastically reduced the amount of water I can make in a day. Now I can only make about 10 gallons compared to 60 or so...I never need to make that much but when I make water I like to make up 30 or so in a day. Since my filters are about shot I closed off the outlet and all the water is running through the DI cartridge. I can make more and still get the same tds but my cartridge will be used up much faster. That's ok when they are about used up IMO.

Rocky when I was down there and we were making water really fast this is what you did right? Let it all run through the DI?

Did you get squared away? If you want to replace what came in the unit, go with a 1 mic sed filter, 0.6 micron carbon block. Then you'll want a resin refill.

You system will not operate properly on 20 psi - I think you know you'll need a booster pump.

I got my booster pump in and man does it speed up the process. I'm tweaking with it to get my waste water to good water ratio correct but I can now make water in a matter of hours instead of days. What's the max psi most ro units can handle? With what I think is the correct ratio of waste/good it's running around 90 psi which is nice compared to the 20-30 I was getting but I worry that's too much.

I checked the website I got my ro from and they don't give a max pressure the unit can handle.
