Whast specifically are you needing help with? I am not familiar with that CA Reactor but they all have the same concepts.

I got a Korallin 1502... don't know how much different they are. Looking at the pictures on http://www.korallin.de they look pretty much the same as far as the hook up. Didn't it come with directions?

Send a message via MSN to Samper
If you look at that picture on the website it looks to me like the tube coming out of the top left with the red valve on it would go to the sump.

I agree with Samper here. It looks like water enters into the connection by the pump, CO2 goes into the verticle connection and the effluent comes out of the connection with the red valve.

I've got a copy of the directions with a picture - it says it's the instructions for C-1502, C-3002, C-4002, and C10002. The models that end in 1 instead of 2 are set up for European electricity, but they work the same. I'll send you a copy (.jpg) in a private message.

Hey Scott, is there an appropriate place on the website to post the directions?

Korallin's have two outlets (outlet 1 & outlet 2)... unless you speak German, they they are called Ausgang (for outlet 1) and Entlüftung (for outlet 2). You can set it up to have water coming out from outlet 1 only with outlet 2 closed to have an Excess CO2 safety feature ON. If 2 is open and 1 is closed, the Excessive CO2 feature is OFF.

BUT... "for an ultimate consistent, forgiving & maintenance-free function, we recommend the following:"
(summary: pressurize your input with micropowerhead or reducing t-piece off you main pump line [I do the latter]. Set outlet 2 at about 2 drops per minute [the pressure will push out any trapped CO2 bubbles that accumulate at the top]. Adjust outlet 2 with CO2 bubbling rate of 10/minute to a KH of 25 degrees)

Anyway, this is one piece of equipment that you'd have to be an astrophysicist to figure out without the directions. Once you get it working, though, it's pretty darn good!

Hmmm... the files are about 1 meg each page (5 pages). I tried shrinking them to 400X600 pixels and the print is illegible. I've e-mailed them johnny, but I can't seem to post them. Does anyone have OCR software that can convert them to .txt?

See what I mean? The directions really help with this machine! Good luck!

P.S. Make small adjustments only once a day and give your system time to equilibrate. I was impatient and had one heck of a calcium storm... they aren't pretty.
