Gaggle of wires
With all this new equipment on my tanks I'm having major wire problems. I need some cheap solutions. What I need is a simple way of hiding wires...making sure everything is neat and clean looking. Also an industrial size power strip would be sweet since I have 3 six plug power strips going.
I'd like peace of mind here and I worry a lot about power surges, fire hazards etc. What do you guys suggest?

An electrician.
![]() I think the best option for the DIY'er is to break out some wire ties (chicken straps, plastic zip ties, whatever they are called) and some stickers to route and label each one. |

Supply companies for DJ's and musicians carry powerstrips that are designed for high draw and also allow you to turn off each plug separately with individual switches. http://www.activemusician.com/store/...&s=1&nav=sd-it (Just an example....I've seen them cheaper or with more switches before)
You can also buy velcro 'cord-keepers' from them. http://www.earfloss.com/vocal/263006...810003&sid=209
