tunze 6060 question

i believe Reefland uses the 6060 stream and maybe other people also use them.I was wondering if they have any regrets with going with this model which doesnt have any control-just always "on" instead of going with the 6000 or 6100 and the controller.$137 dollars vs. almost $300 dollars is a big price difference for sure.Im leaning towards the 6000 kit myself.Just wanted some feedback on the subject.thanks

I have the 6060 and love it. The thing moves TONS of water! I would suggest you get the magnet mount too, the one it comes with is pretty crappy.

We use 2 6060's and have no regrets getting these versus the controllable ones.

Good to know, as this is the model I am thinking of purchasing for myself.

It moves a LOT of water, I'm quite impressed.
Compared to similar GPH out of other devices, this seems to have a `large effect' in the tank in comparison IMO ... the nooks and crannies have water movement.

I've thought about a single 6060 in my 54 corner, but I'm concerned about blowing my sand around too much. Do you find this to be a problem in your 75? Do you have softies and LPS? Do they do OK in the extreme current?
