I would like to somehow silence the overflow anti-siphone on my All-Glass 90Gal. any thoughts??

Thanks for the info. After studying I'm not so sure it will work. I mean I think it would stop the sound but there is no way to break the siphone in a power outage you could drian the tank. My over flow has drian holes to the bottom. Also, I'm not sure how I would install this after my tank is full of water, If I remove the exsiting drian pipe I"ll have to work fast to install the new one or I'll again drain the entire tank into the sump??

Your tank has a corner overflow right? If so, all you have to do is turn off the return pump (tank would only drain 1" or so to the bottom of the overflow slots) and then replace the existing pipe with one of these pipes. The corner overflow will keep the tank from draining.
