Phosban reactor question.

I'm thinking of getting a 2littlefishes phosban reactor and some Rowaphos for my new set up and was wondering if anyone runs one of these things on their system and what kind of results you've had with them.

What size powerhead do you use to run them?

I like the one I tried. I used a Maxi-Jet 1200 on mine. The only thing I didn't like were all the thumb screws, but apparently the newer designs have done away with these. I also don't really care for all the hose and barb connections. I just don't trust them.

One other note, don't use the full amount of Rowaphos right away. People (including myself) have had some bleaching when first beginning using this product. Start with 1/4 the manufacturer recommendations and increase 1/4 whenever you change it out until you get to the recommended dosage.

Very low flow is key to keep from carrying over the dusty orange dust from the iron media and turning your tank rusty brown. The center inlet tube on the reactor change be rotated to adjust the flow and keep it low.
