    Cheap Refractometer

i just bought a refractometer on ebay for 31 dollars. i was looking on several aquarium supply pages and it seems as though i bought the same one for less than half the price. the one i got had atc which is automatic temprature compensation and that is so cool. there were sg conversion charts for the floater type hydormeters and that was a pain so i did not want to have to deal with it. ebay is great..... the company was instramentdepot. there are ones for buy it now at 39 dollars but search for the acutions they have the same one starting at 30.99 and they have no bids

Our sponsors have them very cheap as well. They do not cost what they used to and there is no reason to not have one now.

I just bought one too, from a sponsor too. They work great, and are SIMPLE to use.

I think I paid about 60 for mine, that was 2 years ago. You got a heck of a buy.

I paid about $100 for mine a few years back, but it feels like it was ground out of a solid block of stainless steel. It weighs about 2-3 times what cheaper units do when I have compared them. I don't know if that translates into better performance or accuracy though.

Whatever you do, don't drop it, sounds like it might hurt something
