Overflow Covers

Does anyone know where to buy the actual covers that go over the intank overflows in a drilled tank?

I have no idea what they are called, but the ones im looking for are like the ones in the AGA units with inlets, top, middle, etc..

Are they available for purchase?

Thanks,

Jack

I am not quite sure what you are asking about. Are you looking for those black acrylic/plastic boxes?

Yep.. those are the ones.

Im looking to have the tank drilled.. so im trying to find out if I can get the covers. The one's that GC offers are glass, with slide on covers.

I would rather just get the black acrylic cover and put it in myself.

Thanks,

Jack

You might try an All Glass Aquarium carrier to see if they can order them directly from their distributor?

Most any acrylic fabricator should be able to make you exactly what you want.

Im going by the LFS tomorrow and will ask them about that.

The issue I have is that GC's puts in glass overflow's and covers them with acrylic covers which only have inlets at the top of the overflow.

I would like to have some inlets in the middle as well similar to the power flows of the AGA tanks.

GC's wants $20.00 to cut a hole "each".. that could get expensive, as I really just want a couple of slits in the middle...

Just an FYI...

I found this like to some overflow covers.

http://www.wetdryfilter.com/internal_overflow_boxes.htm

I know I saw others, but have not found them yet.
