Thumbs up Barracuda or Dart?

I know I want the Sequence, and think I want to go with the Dart, but would like some input.

Barracuda or Dart?

210 AGA
Dual Overflow and Returns
Pump to be used for return..

So whats the opinion?

Thanks,

JW

I bought my pumps from this guy. If you call him he may even do the shipping for free. I would go with the bigger pump. You can always reduce the flow if needed.

I have a Dart on my 60g and I love how quiet it is and how much water it pumps out. I would definitely recommend a sequence pump and for a 210, the Barracuda would be my choice for CL.

The Drart is much quieter but the Barracuda handles head pressure better. The Dart has a 2" intake but if you use the 1.5" reducer that comes with it the flow is reduced quite a bit. The Barracuda has a 1.5" intake and will really push the water even at 5-6" of head, but it's a bit loud.

Kevin

I'd use the Dart for the return, both pumps will probably out pump overflows.

Thanks for the feedback guys... I went with the Dart for pretty much the reason golfish mentioned. I would just have to throttle either of them back I do believe so for economics and that I went with the Dart.

I will report back once everything is hooked up..

Thanks again,
