It's up and running!
After a few very busy days, the tank is full of seawater and is up and running!
I've still got lots of work to do... haven't connected the calcium reactor yet, or the pH probe. I also need to do water tests. But enough for tonight.I couldn't give y'all news like that without some pics:

Looks EXCELLENT! Please tell me you attached the rock together with something though, as those look like they could tumble!

Although the rock is very porous, it's difficult to get holes near each other in adjacent rocks to use the plastic strap thingies... and since the rock was already cured, it was wet and the underwater epoxy stuff (despite any claims) doesn't work that well when the rocks are wet. Can one use "Great stuff" underwater? ...serously, I have a chicken liver sponge growing in my refugium that I thought I would frag and use as glue... any other ideas?Quote:
P.S.: T=80°F, S.G.=1.025, pH 7.95, ammonia=0, nitrite=0, nitrate=0, Ca=400, Alk=2.9mEq/L.

How about PVC? you could use 1/2 and drill holes in spots, then insert PVC. It would help stablize things for sure! I think it looks great, I just hope it doesn't fall!

Well, since it is now all assembled and functional, and I'm beginning to stock it, I'll confine updates on the tank to my Log. Thanks for all the advice and support along the way!
Bubba P.S. I'm adding pics of my critters (well, most of them, anyway) to the log and my gallery.
